Ladies Morning takes place every Tuesday morning between 9.30am – 11am. It is thriving, with between 12-16 ladies playing each week and coaching every other week with Betty Maitland. 15 players took part in a Singles Tournament at the Club last week, and a good time was had by all. With a proposed equal number of matches for everyone, Barbara Awbery organised the order of play, but the weather disrupted it. Nevertheless some matches still continued in the pouring rain, and wet players retreated to the warm Clubhouse for refreshments and in good spirits.
The tournament was won by Jamie Rowe with Peter Almond as runner up.
