Picking up a racquet for the first time, then you’ve come to the right place. The standard of this class is more suitable for those players who are beginners or perhaps have not played for some while. Groundstrokes, volleys and services will be covered with real enthusiasm, meaning learning will be fun.
Played years ago, and would like to start again, we look forward to seeing you. Again all the basics will be covered, and you’ll soon be confident enough to come down to club night.
This class is for those tennis players who can hit all the basic strokes with a fair consistency. Adults participating in these courses will be eager to improve their existing skills as well as learning new ones such as spin serves, sliced drop shots and doubles tactics.
Cardio Tennis is a high energy fitness activity that combines the best features of the sport of tennis with cardiovascular exercise, delivering the ultimate, full body, calorie burning aerobic workout. It is a very social and fun class for players of all ability levels taught by a tennis teaching professional. If you’ve never played tennis before it is a great way to be introduced to the sport and if you are an experienced high level tennis player it is the best way to train for tennis. Most classes have mixed ability and some facilities offer classes which are more specific to ability/fitness level. However, regardless of ability or fitness level the tennis professional is trained to provide the ultimate workout for each person.
